Simulation Games

What’s the difference between the lessons and the field trips?
The lessons are complete, standards-based simulation game units for teachers to use in their own classrooms. Everything you need in order to teach is included – lesson plans, PowerPoint show, pre- and post-tests, movies, and student pages. Just download and go! Requires very little planning and prep.

$120 for 4+ hours of teaching – basically, a week of your Social Studies curriculum, done for you! One-hour lessons (Spies units) are only $10.

The field trips (available in the Denver area) are a service. I’ll come teach your class. You get the same highly-engaging and standards-based simulation game for your students, but you can relax and do your grading while I teach for you. For more information, see the pricing and packages below.

What does an in-class field trip cost?

Option 1: Standard Trip – Game Simulation

This is the perfect way for your students to deepen and personalize their understanding of history by living it. Schedule the game simulation either during or after your unit of study.

As one student said, “I knew all about the Intolerable Acts, but when it was me and my family who were at risk, I understood it in a completely different way.”

Your Time Travel Field Trip simulation game includes all the detail and dynamic experiences your texts leave out, and you don’t have to spend time or energy organizing and planning it. We do it for you!
